I like the long winter evenings. It’s a calmer and more peaceful time. I do slow down during winter, and I too have wondered why Americans are so proud of a stressful lifestyle that brings little rewards. I have served corporate masters all my life, and all I have to show for it is a broken body and a damaged mind. No more. I take time now to enjoy every moment.
