Let’s admit it. Our memories are selective. We may not remember what we had for lunch yesterday, but there’s a good chance we’ll remember the good deed someone did for us many years ago. Here’s one of my Dublin memories from what now seems like the old days. It’s a story about my experiences in a brewery, perhaps appropriate today, which we’ll remember as the day the government has called for the nation’s pubs to close.
